LED PAR Cans for Stages, DJs and Events

LED PAR cans provide versatile lighting for performers, backdrops, dancefloors and architectural features. Use them to add colour to a wedding venue, illuminate a band or build a coordinated wash across a stage.

Prebeat’s range includes slimline PAR lights, compact fixtures and larger models from LEDJ, Equinox, ADJ, Algam Lighting, Citronic and more. Choose individual lights or selected lighting sets to suit your space and event requirements.

RGB, RGBW and HEX Colour Options

The LED configuration determines the colours a fixture can produce. RGB models mix red, green and blue, while RGBW fixtures add a dedicated white LED. Selected models include amber, lime or UV, offering additional colour-mixing or effect possibilities.

For applications focused on white illumination, the range also includes warm and cool white PAR lights. Compare each fixture’s LED specification with the look you want to achieve, whether that is saturated colour, softer shades or white stage lighting.

Choosing Beam Angle and Coverage

Beam angle helps determine how much space a light covers at a given distance. A narrower beam suits focused highlights, while a wider wash can cover larger areas of a backdrop or stage. Selected zoom models let you adjust the spread for different venues.

Consider output and positioning alongside beam angle. Where available, compare lux figures measured at the same distance and operating settings. For quieter performances, speeches and intimate venues, fanless models remove cooling-fan noise from the setup.

Standalone Modes and DMX Control

Selected LED PAR cans offer static colours, automatic programmes, sound activation and master/slave operation. These modes provide straightforward options for smaller setups, while DMX allows more detailed control of compatible fixtures.

Pair your lights with suitable lighting control equipment and DMX cables to coordinate colour changes, dimming and programmed sequences.

Indoor, Outdoor and Battery-Powered Lighting

Choose an appropriately rated exterior fixture for outdoor use, checking its IP rating and installation requirements. Indoor PAR cans should only be used in the conditions specified by their manufacturer.
