19 inch rack cases for professional audio equipment

Portable rack cases and mixer flight cases

For mobile DJs, live performers and event crews, a rack case helps organise equipment into a system that can travel together. Selected models include wheels for easier handling, while mixer rack cases combine angled upper mounting space with vertical rack space below.

Think about how you will use the controls as well as how the equipment will travel. A mixer needs a comfortable operating position, while rear connections should remain accessible for setup and troubleshooting. Consider the combined weight of the case and its contents before choosing your transport arrangement.

Rack cabinets and frames for installations

Wall-mounted rack cabinets and open frames provide options for organising equipment in venues, studios and commercial audio installations. The right format depends on the available space, access requirements and equipment being fitted.

Plan the layout before ordering, allowing for cable routing, ventilation and future additions. Check the cabinet’s load rating and mounting requirements, particularly when installing heavier equipment.

Choosing the correct rack height and depth

Rack height is measured in units, shown as U. Add together the rack space required by each item, then allow for any ventilation gaps, shelves or drawers your system needs. For example, a 2U amplifier and two 1U devices occupy 4U before any additional spacing.

Depth is equally important. Compare the usable mounting depth with your deepest item and leave room for plugs and cable bends. A 19 inch mounting format alone does not guarantee that every piece of equipment will fit.

Rack accessories to finish your setup

The range also includes rack drawers, sliding trays, blanking panels, vented panels and equipment-specific mounting adaptors. These help organise smaller items and make practical use of the available space.
