The Equinox SpectraPix Batten is a versatile one-metre RGB pixel batten designed for DJs, live events, stages, venues and creative lighting installations.

Its 224 tri-colour SMD LEDs are divided into 16 controllable segments, allowing the fixture to produce smooth colour washes, flowing chases and animated pixel effects. A wide 120° viewing angle makes the light clearly visible across dancefloors, stages and performance spaces.

The black fixture includes interchangeable clear and frosted front screens. The clear screen produces more defined pixel effects, while the frosted screen blends the LEDs into a softer, more even wash.

16-Segment RGB Control

Each of the 16 segments contains individually controllable red, green and blue elements. This provides considerably more creative control than a standard single-colour LED batten, particularly when using the 48 or 53-channel DMX modes.

Simpler DMX modes are also available for applications where full pixel control is unnecessary. Selectable 3, 5, 24, 48 and 53-channel modes allow the SpectraPix Batten to work with both compact lighting controllers and more advanced programmed shows.

Standalone and Sound-Activated Programs

The SpectraPix Batten can be used without a DMX controller. Built-in static colours, automatic programs and sound-activated chases can be selected using the four-button control panel and LED display.

Multiple fixtures can also be connected in master/slave mode, allowing the secondary battens to follow the program running on the main unit. Program speed, sound sensitivity, dimming and variable strobe settings provide further control over the effect.

Clear and Frosted Lighting Effects

Both clear and frosted front screens are supplied with the fixture. The clear screen emphasises the individual LED segments for sharper pixel chases, while the frosted screen diffuses the output for smoother colour blending and wash effects.

This makes the batten suitable for illuminating stages, walls and backdrops as well as creating visible animated effects behind performers and DJs.

Flexible Installation and Power Linking

The included brackets can be used as floor-standing feet or as mounting points for suitable professional installations. IEC power input and output connections allow multiple compatible fixtures to share a power run.

The SpectraPix Batten is convection cooled, eliminating fan noise during performances, presentations and other noise-sensitive applications.
