Strobe Lights for DJs and Stage Shows

Strobe lighting creates bursts of light that can accent musical changes and key moments in a performance. Used alongside colour washes and moving effects, it adds contrast and variety to a DJ or stage lighting setup.

Prebeat’s selection includes compact strobes for smaller rigs and more versatile fixtures for programmed shows. Compare output, coverage and control options to find a model suited to your venue.

White, RGB and Batten Strobe Effects

White strobes deliver a classic flash effect, while RGB models introduce coloured strobing. Selected fixtures combine dedicated white LEDs with RGB sections, providing both strobe effects and colour washes from one unit.

Strobe battens offer an alternative shape for stage and backdrop arrangements. Depending on the model, segmented LED control and built-in chase programmes provide additional visual effects beyond a full-fixture flash.

Flash Rate, Dimming and DMX Control

Available controls vary between fixtures. Look for adjustable flash speed and intensity, or choose a DMX-equipped model when you want to programme effects as part of a larger show.

Selected strobes also offer automatic, sound-activated and master/slave modes. Check the fixture’s channel requirements when pairing it with your lighting controller, and use suitable DMX cables for wired connections.

Complete Your Lighting Setup

Combine strobe effects with LED PAR cans for background colour or moving head lights for movement. Consider mounting position, viewing angle and the intended audience when planning the display, and follow the venue’s strobe-use policy and the manufacturer’s operating guidance.
