The Wolfmix WING expands your W1 with physical faders, detailed fixture control and sequenced show playback. Compatible with W1 MK1, MK2 and MK3, it connects and powers the W1 through a single USB cable, combining an expanded control surface with the W1 touchscreen.

Eight motorised faders, illuminated lightguides and individual OLED displays make parameters easier to identify during a performance. Dedicated group controls and a 40-button matrix bring all eight groups within reach.

CUE LIST adds structured playback for songs, scenes and productions. CONTROL provides direct access to fixture parameters, while MAPPING lets you arrange controls around your preferred workflow. SUBGROUPS divides each group into up to eight sections for more selective operation.

WING includes two DMX universes and supports two additional universes through optional expansion. A combined W1/WING system supports up to eight universes when both devices are fully expanded.

Applications

WING suits lighting operators who want physical control for live shows and repeatable cue sequences for theatre, bands and event productions. Its configurable controls also support combined lighting and MIDI workflows, subject to the external equipment’s MIDI implementation.

FAQs

Q: Which Wolfmix controllers are compatible with WING?
A: WING connects to W1 MK1, MK2 and MK3 controllers.

Q: Can WING control lighting without a W1 connected?
A: Yes, after lighting setup and project synchronisation with a W1. A W1 is required for those initial tasks.

Q: Are eight DMX universes included?
A: No. WING includes two universes, expandable to four. Eight-universe operation requires a combined W1/WING system with both devices fully expanded.

Q: Can WING control MIDI software?
A: Yes. It can operate as a generic MIDI controller. Available functions depend on the software’s MIDI support and mapping.

Q: Does WING need a computer for lighting playback?
A: No. Computer-free playback is supported. WTOOLS provides configuration tools, and Easy View 3D visualisation requires an additional add-on.
