Protekt Plus CPFL Universal Large Pick Foam Case

The Protekt Plus CPFL is a large universal flight case with a customisable pick-and-pluck foam interior. It is designed for compatible DJ controllers, media players, mixers and other equipment that fits within its 500 x 400 x 120mm internal space.

Pre-scored foam cubes can be removed to create a compartment shaped around the equipment. This provides a more secure fit than an empty universal case while allowing the internal layout to be configured by the user.

Customisable Pick-and-Pluck Foam

The pick-and-pluck foam can be shaped without specialist cutting equipment. Individual pre-scored sections are removed to match the size and shape of the equipment and any accessories being stored.

The layout should be planned and the equipment measured before any foam is removed. Leaving sufficient foam around the equipment helps maintain separation from the case walls.

Padded Protective Interior

In addition to the customisable foam base, the case contains thick EVA foam padding and egg-crate foam inside the lid.

These padded surfaces help cushion compatible equipment and reduce movement, vibration and contact with the interior during transportation.

Reinforced Flight Case Construction

The CPFL is manufactured from 7mm honeycomb laminated plywood with an anodised aluminium frame and reinforced steel ball corners.

Recessed butterfly latches keep the case closed during transport. The latches are compatible with suitable padlocks when additional security is required, although padlocks are not included.

A spring-loaded carry handle folds flat when released, while industrial-strength rubber feet help keep the case stable on suitable surfaces.

Compatible Equipment

The manufacturer identifies the CPFL as suitable for a range of compatible DJ controllers, players and mixers, including the Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX4, DDJ-400, DDJ-SB2 and DDJ-SB3; Denon DJ Prime GO; Reloop Beatpad 2; Numark Mixtrack Pro II; Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol S2; and Roland DJ-202.

Published mixer compatibility includes models from Allen & Heath, Alto, Behringer, Mackie, Soundcraft, Studiomaster and Yamaha. Equipment dimensions should always be checked against the internal measurements before the foam is configured.
